Well anyways i just got back from the team captain meeting for the American Diabetes Association. it was pretty exciting. Got to meet a bunch of people, and got new ideas for the walk. for those of you on my team,Welcome to our team! I wanted to take the opportunity to personally thank you for teaming up with me to help raise money in the fight against diabetes. Over the years we’ve found that teams are the largest fundraisers at America’s Walk for Diabetes, and our Team will be joining thousands of others in increasing the amount of funds available to prevent and cure diabetes. Currently, there are over 18 million Americans with diabetes and thousands more going blind, have an amputation or suffer another devastating complication. Diabetes kills more than aids or breast cancer – 187,000 people last year alone – and is the sixth leading cause of death by disease in the United States. This year, our goal is to raise $12 million in 300 cities across the nation. And that’s why your support is so important. Funds raised through america’s walk will help in the search for a cure and improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. i know that this year we will have a great team, only because the best people are on it. you guys are great and im sure we can beat our goals and help raise enough money for the cure, and have fun doing it! a special thanx to PAMELA,NATASHA,TONYA,CARRISIA,STEPHANIE,KEVIN,MINDY,CECI,FLOR, VERONICA,ESTEBAN,NEEL,HERSHAL,ARIANA,SALLY AND THE REST WHO WOULD LIKE TO JOIN OUR TEAM!
